Banff, Alberta is a unique place to visit with many things to do there.

You don’t have to take your car to visit attractions near Banff. In fact, it’s not recommended in order to preserve the environment.

Our hotel (read my Google review here) gave us free ROAM passes that were valid for three days. Hop on and off the bus; it’s that easy.

One of my favorite places near Banff is Sulphur Mountain.

We took the Banff Gondola up to the top of the mountain.

We dined at ‘Sky Bistro: A Dining Sanctuary in the Sky.’

The view is spectacular. We were lucky to find a table and I recommend booking in advance.

One of our most memorable stops was Lake Louise.

The Lakeview Lounge, located inside the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise—an exclusive mountain resort—offers a direct view of the lake while dining.
