101 Gold Nuggets of Advice

I am very pleased to announce the publication of two of my books:  101 Gold Nuggets of Advice and 101 Gold Nuggets of Advice, 2.

These two books offer a total of 202 ‘gold nuggets’ or, pieces of advice for the modern person.

My inspiration came from a book written by a father for his college-bound son. Unfortunately, the name of the book slips my mind, but I do remember that it was a rectangular, paperback book with a checkered red and white cover along the edges and a white space in the middle with the title I’ve forgotten. I would leaf through the book and marvel at the simplicity of the advice. It was so obvious yet so true. I read it after going to college.

101 Gold and 101 Gold, 2 resemble this book in their simplicity yet are written for everyone, not just for someone on their way to college. Although someone going to college can benefit, too.

For those of you who’ve been following my blog, I continue to work on SD: HTLTLYL, abbreviated. I’m as excited about this work in progress as the twin gold books because it offers much by way of personal empowerment as well as complementing the 202 gold nuggets. SD: HTLTLYL, not claiming to be an advice book, will be longer, more detailed and more complete.

What do modern seekers want most? Honestly, I think the simple answer is help. But not just any kind of help. The help that bubbles up out of the deep well of what some call the School of Hard Knocks or simply, life experience.

I have complete trust in my readers’ ability to discern. Furthermore, I am extremely grateful for my followers’ fidelity. You are very patient and wait for the next post, knowing that it will come. None of you have left me and for this I am most grateful.

Today is Thanksgiving in Canada. And on this day, as you can see, I have much to be grateful for not least of which is your attentiveness to my blog.

Thank you and, Happy Thanksgiving!
