Trump or Hillary?

I went to Gabby’s Bar & Grill today. It’s opposite the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) on Bloor Street in Toronto where there just happens to be a fantastic exhibition on called “Chihuly.”

Gabby’s is a really nice spot because there’s a terrace and if the sun’s out, you’re guaranteed a pleasant experience.

Light streams through the front window beyond which is Gabby’s distinctive terrace with red chairs, black tables and flower baskets. (The terrace was recently refurbished.)

When I arrived, I read the sidewalk chalkboard with same-priced specials. On offer were the “Trump Burger” and the “Hillary Burger.”

Here’s what it looked like:

The Trump and Hillary Burgers are priced at $12.99 each.

The inside of the establishment looks like this:

There’s a big mirror I like with an advertisement. Note a neighboring building’s reflection.

The establishment has several rooms that can be used for birthday or wedding parties. Book in advance. Also, it tends to be crowded on weekends, so make sure you come before noon to avoid the 40 minute wait.

If you’re looking for decent prices, tasty food, friendly wait staff (one of whom is an aspiring actress who’ll make it “big,” I’m sure), check out Gabby’s.

Oh, and if you’re wondering what I ordered, it was the lunch menu Fish & Chips which I highly recommend.
